Virtuoso, Russian-English Typing Tutor is the most popular tutoring software for touch-typing in Russian and English languages.

Overview

The course is designed in a serious manner. It does not include any game elements and unnecessary graphic effects, it does not allow to skip exercises or change their order.

Features:

Training course is based on the number of exercises which involve typing of a specially selected text. Proceeding to the next exercise is only allowed when the typing quality criteria are satisfied.
The course is mostly aimed to teach an error free typing rather than a fast typing. The allowed settings for typing quality criteria have been chosen according to this goal. Once a user learned how to type, he/she can easily increase the typing speed while practicing.
The program employs three criteria to evaluate the typing quality: errors, irregularity, and speed.
