I got the message "Sorry, this service is temporary not available". What do I do?
First, please check whether you are connected to the Internet. You may have lost the Internet connection.
Second, be aware that IM Translator uses multiple servers to perform translation. The program automatically checks servers for availability and connects to the available one.
If for some reason the connection didn't go through, exit IM Translator and launch the program again.

Why are some characters not displayed correctly after translation?
Each IM program uses different standards to support international languages. IM Translator uses Magic Clipboard™ technology which assure correct transfer of multilingual characters between applications in Windows environment.
If you get some unreadable characters in the translation results, all you have to do is to select the right translation direction.

When copying the translation to ICQ some characters are not displayed correctly, why?
Each IM program uses different standards to support international languages. For example, ICQ doesn't display Russian characters correctly in non-Russian windows.
To send your message in Russian via ICQ, convert Russian into Russian transliterated and send it out.

When copying the translation to MSN Messenger some characters are not displayed correctly, why?
Each IM program uses different standards to support international languages. Generally MSN Messenger displays non-English characters correctly. But in some cases, it cannot transfer messages between applications properly. Unfortunately, we don't have a convenient way yet to transfer non-English text into MSN Messenger in foreign characters. Which we will definitely do in future versions.
To transfer a translated message into MSN Messenger on-the-fly, be sure that the Copy to Clipboard option is checked, translate and than use the paste command of MSN Messenger.
Another way is to convert the Russian message into Russian transliterated first, and send it out.

I can see Russian message in AIM correctly, but I cannot send and receive messages in proper characters, why?
This is a common problem in communication between AIM service and some windows settings. Unfortunately we cannot change this in a proper way.
In this case, to send your message in Russian, convert it into Russian transliterated and send it out.

Why is translated text hard to understand or doesn't make sense?
Machine translation is not always perfect. Since IM Translator doesn't translate word by word, but analyzes each sentence as a whole, a spelling mistake, an unknown word or too long and complicated sentence may distort the meaning of the entire sentence. For best results, check your spelling, write in complete sentences, and try to avoid shorthand words.
